Celebrate Parkinson’s Awareness Month With Your Institute

April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, and the Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center is celebrating in a big way by announcing that last year's MORE TALK! MORE WALK! 2-mile fundraiser walk is merging with Parkinson's Battle of the Bay to form a family friendly sports tournament on Saturday, April 8th at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale! Participants can sign up for a 2-mile Walk, Sports Tournament (flag football, volleyball, kickball), or both.

Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center Excited to Partner with CENTOGENE

The Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center and CENTOGENE have entered into a collaboration aimed at genetic screening of a large cohort of Parkinson’s patients in the US. Now, individual patients will be screened using a large customized panel carefully selected to identify pathophysiological relevant genetic variants for the development and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.  For more information click here

Parkinson's Institute welcomes Shelley Silva


Shelley has a consistent client base that she treats for work related stress or medical conditions such as Parkinson’s, rheumatoid arthritis, neck and back tightness and/or pain. Shelley is familiar with the areas of discomfort  Parkinson’s patients chronically suffer from including neck and shoulder as well as low back and calf area.
