Join a community of people living with Parkinson's disease who enjoy exploring the therapeutic value of SINGING.
Maintain and improve breath control and vocal loudness
Participate in movement to music exercises which contribute to good posture, balance, and flexibility
Share the fun of singing with others in the Parkinson's community, including family and care partners.
Meeting day and time: First and Third Thursdays at noon.
Who: All
people with Parkinson's disease, their spouses, children, and other care partners. No singing experience needed! All you need is a desire to sing and do exercises at your own comfort level. Program is directed by a licensed speech pathologist.
