Research Associate position available beginning immediately in a laboratory work environment. We work on Parkinson’s disease associated enzymes, focusing on molecular and biochemical dissection of pathways that lead to disease. This Research Associate will work with a team to understand LRRK2 biology in patient derived induced pluripotent stem cells differentiated to neurons. The successful candidate should be highly motivated and have experience with stem cells and/or molecular and biochemical techniques including real-time PCR, immunological based detection techniques. Proficiency with internet, spreadsheet, word processing, graphing and statistical analysis, and database software is a must. This is a fixed term, full time position with benefits and grant funding until August 2014.
