Your Parkinson’s Institute and Clinical Center with the support of Bill Draper and the Draper family launched our very first crowdfunding campaign with Indiegogo on #GivingTuesday—Tuesday, December 3. Our STRETCH GOAL of $300,000 is well within reach! CBS San Francisco recently aired a story on crowdfunding and holiday giving, and our Parkinson’s. We’re In This Together. campaign was featured as a success story.
We know that when a loved one is living with Parkinson’s disease, the entire family is living with Parkinson’s. Our Parkinson’s Institute story is told most meaningfully and powerfully through the personal journeys of our Parkinson’s Institute partners and their families. For this very special campaign, we asked partner Bill Draper and his family to share their story with the world. Bill’s wife Phyllis is living with Parkinson’s disease. Together, we hope to inspire and motivate other families touched by Parkinson’s and unleash a very personal call to action.
We launched our campaign with a $100,000 match from The Draper Foundation and recently announced a second $100,000 matching fund thanks to the generosity of Parkinson’s Institute Board Member Peter Nosler and his wife Julie Veitch.
Join us. Let’s get our Indiegogo on!
